[shadow=red,left,300]History:[/shadow]
Lucas Shaw was born on July 21st 1982. He was born in a small hospital in Loma Linda California. His father Charles Shaw was only married to Angel Maka for a few months when they found out she was expecting. Charles already had a son, Evan, from a previous marriage, but he was very happy to find out they were having a new baby. Once Lucas was born, his mother and father moved the family to Venice beach. Growing up near the ocean, Lucas became what his mother called a “water child.” As he grew Lucas and Evan became closer, attending school together, walking home and doing pretty much everything together. One of their favorite activities on the weekend was taking surfing lessons down at the beach, about a twenty minute walk from their house. When Lucas turned ten he entered his first surfing contest and won third place.
By the time Lucas was fifteen, he started to do volunteer work at the beach and the wildlife rescue. Working there after school, he started to learn things about taking care of the local wildlife. Once he graduated from high school, he and Evan formed a band to make some quick cash. Lucas played the drums for the high school’s band, so it was easy for him to be the drummer in Evan’s band. They went to every night club and performed, making $300 some nights. Entering college was a challenge for him, for he hated school and it was far away. After about two years of that he dropped, staying at the wildlife rescue and becoming a personal trainer at the beach front fitness club.
The year Lucas turned twenty-one Evan took him to Las Vegas, in hopes for a good time. They loved it there so much they moved there shortly after. Most people there stayed clear of Lucas, which never bothered him for he liked being alone mostly. Playing at the night clubs there at night got them more money and during the day they worked at a fitness club, which nearly killed them. After about three years of the hectic life style they moved back to Venice beach and were able to get their jobs back at the fitness club. His days then consisted of work, food, training and living with his brother. One day he came home from a along shift and walked into their apartment to find his brother had a new girlfriend. Something about her made his skin crawl; he never trusted her. After a month he couldn’t take the sight of her, and when he told Evan how he felt his brother screamed and kicked him out. Living on his own for the first time was hard, especially when Evan didn’t talk to him at work. Slowly he noticed his brother stopped showing up for work most of the week, then not at all. One night he couldn’t take it anymore, so he went over to his brother’s place and found the girlfriend drinking from his brother. Rage took over and the next thing he knew he was in the form of a black and white wolf. Snarling at the woman, he charged her and bit into her neck, ripping the flesh there. Before Lucas could kill the woman, she told him what was happening to Evan. She told him he was going to be a vampire and she needed to get him out of the city. Grunting Lucas grabbed his brother, carrying him in his jaws and fled the apartment, running out of the city to the desert. The woman followed and explained that Evan would most likely kill Lucas when Evan woke up. Not wanting to leave his brother, he growled at the woman and ran off. Running through the desert helped calm him enough that he was able to phase back into a human. Everything hit him then, he was some type of monster and he lost his brother to that woman. Looking down he cursed that he didn’t have any clothes so he concentrated and phased back to a wolf, running back to the beach. It being midnight he was able to get a towel left out on the beach without anyone seeing him. Breathing deeply he was able to phase back into his normal form and wrapped the towel around himself. Walking back to his apartment, Lucas knew that his life had changed from that point on. He would hunt down every vampire and kill them, so no one ended up like his brother.

Searching for that leech was not very hard at all; he stunk to high heaven. Walking slowly down the ally, Lucas looked around for any sign of it. Spotting it leaning against the wall, Lucas smiled to himself thinking Too easy leech. As the leach turned to look at him, he saw the tell tale signs that it was indeed a vampire. The eyes always gave it away, red with no life in them. Dropping his shoulders to looking smaller, not an easy task even before he changed and grew more, he walked closer to the leech. Tripping over a trash can lid, he cursed as he landed, feeling the gravel there cutting his leg open. This, he knew, would draw the leach in. Hearing that this plan worked, Lucas looked up at the leech as he walked closer. “Can you help me, dude? I cut my leg open.” The leach nodded and extended his hand for Lucas. Smiling, Luke pulled the vampire down to his level and pinned him there. “You aren’t the only thing to worry about out here, ass.” Holding him down by the neck, Lucas started to laugh, a laugh that turned into a growl as he phased. The leech watched him in horror and remained under his paw for a few seconds before trying in vain to get away. Lucas grabbed him by the arm and shook him as he tried to pull away. With a satisfying tearing sound the arm detached from the leech, his scream made Lucas smile around the arm in his jaws. Spitting the arm out, he lounged for the leech and bit into his leg, taking a huge chunk out. As he watched the leech fall he smiled to himself, Way to easy. Jumping on the vamps back he bit into its neck and ripped the head from the body. Jumping off, he tossed the head aside and phased back to his human form. Walking over to his hidden bag, he grabbed out the lighter fluid and matches. Gathering the pieces he piled them up and dumped the whole can of lighter fluid on the disembodied pieces and struck the match, dropping it on the carcass. Watching the fire burn he backed away from the stench it always left. Grabbing his bag once more, he pulled the swim trunks he had inside and pulled them on. Walking out of the ally he headed for the beach. Nothing felt better after killing a vampire then a nice long swim in the moonlight.
